REIKI
What is Reiki?
Reiki is a Japanese energy healing technique. “Rei” translates to “universe” or “life force,” and “ki” translates to the physical energy of the body (also known as qi); put together, Reiki translates to “universal life force energy.”
Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace, security and wellbeing. It brings balance to your physical, mental, emotional and energetic self.
Reiki practitioners act as a conduit between you and the source of the universal life force energy. The energy flows through the practitioner’s hands to you and their positions are designed to cover three main areas: your major organs, your major chakras, and your major meridians (energy pathways). Throughout the session, the practitioner focuses on their intent for healing.
Please note: Reiki is not a substitute for medical or psychological treatment.
