CORPORATE YOGA
Corporate Yoga classes are a great way to promote health and wellbeing in your workplace. Having spent many years in the corporate environment, I have witnessed the importance of wellbeing at work. Physical and emotional health are essential for the individual but also for the company bottom line.
In integrating corporate yoga in your office, you will:
Improve employees’ general wellbeing (mental and physical)
Reduce employees’ stress and anxiety
Increase employees’ energy levels, productivity and creativity
Improve employees’ concentration
Create higher job satisfaction amongst employees
Improve team cohesion
Time
A corporate yoga session can be held at anytime before, during or after work. A session can last from 30 to 90 minutes (or more if required).
Location
Yoga sessions can be conducted at your office, in a close park or in live stream via Zoom.
Price
Rates for corporate wellness will vary based on location and group size, starting from $150 per hour, for up to 10 participants.
What do you need?
Depending on the option you choose, you might need floor space (boardroom, spare office, gymnasium…), yoga mats and/or chairs. Mats can be provided for an extra charge.
Options
Yoga classes can vary from energising vinyasa to relaxing meditative classes. Different options are available and can be tailored for your group’s needs:
Office yoga
Practice yoga with a mat in your office.
A class typically includes an introduction with a few minutes dedicated to meditation and/or breathing exercises, movement, postures (asanas) and stretches.
Breathing & meditation
A great way to calm the mind and release the stress of your employees.
A session of yoga nidra can also be conducted. Yoga nidra, also called "yogic sleep", is a form of meditation and deep relaxation technique. Anyone can do yoga nidra. The practice is conducted lying down on the floor/mat/ or in the seated position.
Chair yoga
Chair yoga can be a great option if you do not have the space for a full mat yoga class. It is a gentle form of yoga conducted while sitting. Additionally, some poses can be done standing using the chair as a support.
Without leaving your sit, you can take advantage of the benefits of yoga.
